Defending Human Rights in Equatorial Guinea

Advocating for human rights

Nexos GE, also known as Nexos, is a non-governmental organisation advocating for human rights, the rule of law and social justice in Equatorial Guinea. Nexos brings together a diverse coalition of political groups, human rights activists and renowned public figures, offering a platform to raise awareness of the systematic violation of human rights in Equatorial Guinea.

Nexos was founded in 2023 and is registered in Spain and France as a legal entity.

Our values

  • Nexos' strength lies in its diversity. The organisation stands as an unprecedented coalition in Equatorial Guinea and its diaspora, uniting individuals and organisations from all ethnic groups, religions, political platforms, races, and genders in the fight for human rights.

  • By advocating for human rights, justice, and the rule of law, Nexos aims to foster positive change in Equatorial Guinea’s journey towards a democratic future.

  • Nexos draws its expertise from community leaders and activists in Equatorial Guinea and its diaspora. Unlike previous international organisations that have aimed to study and address the human rights violations in the country, Nexos goes beyond surface-level engagement, committing to accurate, in-depth reporting of human rights abuses in Equatorial Guinea.
